About

Ashley Cianci (Daoust)
Licensed Massage Therapist, Owner

I've been a massage therapist since 2018 focusing on pain reduction, injury prevention, and improving mobility. Some things I enjoy working with are neck and shoulder pain, low and upper back pain, knee and ankle pain, hand pain and numbness/tingling, headaches and migraines, carpal tunnel, tennis and golfer's elbow, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, constipation, and TMJD.

My work mainly utilizes Barral's Visceral and Neural Manipulation, RAPID Neurofascial Reset, and Upledger's Craniosacral Therapy.  These modalities require movement on the part of the client, so it's not a stereotypical massage where the client just lays there and I do all the work; it is a team effort! Your body changes at the rate of the nervous system, and the more involved your brain is during the session the better and faster the outcome!  I use assessments that listen to the client's body, because pain is a symptom and the cause is often not where we feel it.  This allows us to address the root cause of the issue for longer lasting results.  I work with the nervous system and organs first, because this is what your brain prioritizes for survival.  When there is tension in these systems the muscles will tense up and guard around them- so we can beat up your traps all day but if you have an unhappy lung or liver the work will never stick!  Since we often switch positions we work fully clothed or in underwear that you are comfortable in- this allows use to use seated techniques and active movements when we need to.

I am constantly taking continuing education classes to expand my knowledge and toolbox, because you can never know enough about the human body!  You can also find me teaching Pilates classes at Body Language Pilates!  I love what I do and I hope that you will too!
